Amazon Prime Video is having a big year ahead. While the streaming giant unveiled its ambitious expansion plan for the next 24 months, it also announced its exclusive deal with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

This deal comes in the wake of the stupendous success of ‘Shershaah’, which was released straight to streaming and was a massive hit for Prime Video.

In addition to the 3 movies, Dharma will also provide exclusive streaming rights for 4 of their original series. The series include: ‘Call Me Bae’, which is about a disowned billionaire fashionista who has to learn to fend for herself; the second series is ‘Aye Watan…Mere Watan’, a series inspired by true events of a young girl who was instrumental in India’s struggle for freedom.

The third series is ‘India Love Project’, which is said to be a docuseries highlighting real love stories of people across the country and each episode is about an unusual and inspiriting tale of love. The fourth series, part of the deal is yet to be announced.

Yesterday, filmmaker Karan Johar took to his Intagram to announce the news and wrote, "It’s going to be an entertainment packed year with @dharmamovies & @dharmaticent – in collaboration with @primevideoin.
