Bollywood’s ‘Dhak Dhak’ star Madhuri Dixit and her husband Dr. Shriram Nene have apparently rented a new house in the Worli area of Mumbai.
Worli is a high-end locality with several high-rise apartments facing the sea. The properties in this area are considered premium.
Even so, Madhuri Dixit and her husband seem to paying quite the premium, that too, as rent. According to sources, the couple will be moving into a rented apartment and their rent per month is a shocking Rs. 12.5 lakhs per month. This means annually the couple will be spending Rs 1.5 crores on rent.
The news came to light when the designer of the house, Apoorva Shroff shared a glimpse of the apartment on her Interior design company’s Instagram handle. She shared a bunch of pictures of the “work-in-progress” space and wrote, “This was the home before we started! Lucky for us, we didn’t need to make too many structural changes. It was all about getting the right vibe, a home that is warm, cozy and most importantly, reflects my clients’ personalities!”
The designer also gave an interview to Pinkvilla and shared that the central idea for the interior design was to be keep the space simple, sober yet versatile. She adds that the brief given to her was that she had to do a “quick makeover” of the house for the couple. “The apartment located on 29th floor of a Worli high rise had a spectacular view of the city sparkling below at night and ample of light filtering in from all directors during the day,” shared Apoorva.
On the professional front, Madhuri Dixit is enjoying the accolades pouring in for her digital debut Netflix series, ‘The Fame Game’.
